Ornamental Onion

Later flowering than other Alliums. Narrow, glossy green leaves form a neat and tall, upright clump. Globe shaped light pink-purple flowers in Summer. Bulbs have a distinct onion/garlic scent. Attracts lots of pollinators. Creates a wonderful display if planted in masses. Height 70 cm, spread 40 cm. Position in free-draining soil in full sun.

First grey-green leaves appear, and after these wither the huge flower balls appear. They make a great addition to your border with their deep violet flowers in Summer. Height 90 cm. Spread 40 cm.

A later blooming variety with impressive Roses-purple flowers from June-August. Compact clumps of glossy, thick green leaves. Garden plant for flowerbeds, gravel gardens in full sun. Height 60 cm.
