Echinacea ‘Green Jewel’®
Upright stems reaching for the sun, bear striking flowers from mid Summer to Autumn. Unusual pale green petals surround a dark green cone, making a stunning display. Extremely attractive to butterflies and bees. A must for any garden! Garden plant for flowerbed in well drained soil in full sun. Suitable in beds, borders, pots or containers. Also an excellent choice for a meadow or wild flower style garden. Height 60cm. Spread 40cm.
Astelia Banksii
Bring a tropical feel to the garden with this striking architectural plant! Clump-forming habit with sprays of arching, narrow sword-shaped silvery leaves. The evergreen foliage can be damaged by frost and cold wind so may need winter protection. Insignificant pale green flowers in Summer followed by purple-red berries. Position in moist free-draining or peaty soil in partial shade. Will tolerate full sun. Can reach an average height of 120 cm and spread of 80 cm.
